This Drive is also known as the "Journey through Time" drive. It will introduce you to the beautiful and diverse Dinosaur ecosystem. The road climbs gently toward the uplands toward the canyon rims where overlooks offer panoramic views of gorges carved by the Yampa and Green rivers.

There are several short nature trails along the tour and spectacular overlooks of mountains and canyons. At the end of the road is the Harpers Corner Trail, a 1-mile long one-way, self guided nature trail. The overlook at the end of the trail is 2,300 feet above the river and is one of the most spectacular views in the West.

Directions: From Dinosaur, Take Hwy. 40 East two miles to the Headquarters Visitor Center at Harper's Corner Road. The scenic drive follows Harper's Corner Road to the end and back.
