This 8 mile round trip ends at a rocky point with a spectacular view of Split Mountain Gorge and the Green River.

This 8 mile round trip begins at the Island Park overlook on the Harper's Corner Scenic drive and follows an old 4x4 road along the top of Ruple Ridge. the trail has only moderate slopes but crosses open, dry terrain. Carrying plenty of water is essential and a hat is a good idea. The trail end son a rocky point with a spectacular view of Split Mountain Gorge and Green River.

Directions: From Dinosaur, Take US Hwy. 40 2 miles east of Dinosaur, CO. Turn left on Harper's Corner Rd and the Dinosaur National Monument Headquarters. Follow this past Echo park Rd to Island Park Overlook where the trailhead is located.
