This trail originates out of the Hessie Townsite and follows the Devils Lake Trail for about 2.5 miles until you reach Woodland Lake Trail.

This trail follows an old road out of Hessie, across Middle Boulder Creek, to the junction of King and Devils Thumb Lakes Trail. Stay right on the old road following Devils Lake Trail to its intersection with Woodlands Lake Trail. Woodland Lake Trail branches to the left. For an extended hike, you can take the Devils Thumb Lake Trail #902.

Directions: From Eldora, Travel west to the Hessie Townsite on CR #130

Elevation: 9,100 feet

Ending Elevation: 11,000 feet

Elevation Gain: 1,900 feet

Distance: 4.5 miles

Usage: Heavy to Very Heavy
