This trail crosses Middle Boulder Creek and climbs to the Diamond Lake Trail. To reach the Devils Thumb Lake Trail, take a left at the Diamond Lake Trail and travel for about .5 mile.

Directions: From Eldora, Travel west on CR #130 and northwest on CR #111 to the trailhead. It will be on your left before you reach the 4th of July/Buckingham Park Campground. Hiking alternatives include Diamond Lake Trail from Hessie.
