Homestead (1.9 miles) Trail is number 12 in the park system and begins from the northernmost portion of the campground. It leads westward for the first mile then southward to intersect with Werley Ranch Trail. From this intersection Homestead Trail continues southward for approximately one mile. The trail ends at the Homestead Trailhead on Wapiti Road.
This trail is open to bike and foot traffic. It travels through forest, meadows and rolling hills. There are several opportunities for extending this trail using the Werley Ranch, Geer Pond, Beaver Ponds and Revenuer's Ridge Trails.
Directions: From Mueller State Park Visitor Center, Follow Wapiti Road northward to the campground. The Grouse Mountain Trailhead lies at the north end of the campground from here Homestead Trail leads to the left.
