Bear Creek Trail is part of a network of trails in Cheyenne Canyon a drainage that flows into the southwestern part of Colorado Springs. The trail is open to foot, horse and mountain bike traffic. It follows Bear Creek Canyon 2 miles to the intersection of Jones Park Trail. Jones Park Trail takes over and continues following the Creek to its end.

Directions: From High Drive, Where Cheyenne Boulevard splits in North Cheyenne Canyon Park take the left fork. This is the High Drive, Forest Road 380. Follow it approximately 2 miles to the Bear Creek Trailhead on the western side of the road.

Elevation: 7,200 feet

Ending Elevation: 8,600 feet

Elevation Gain: 1,500 feet

Difficulty: Moderate/Strenuous
