By the summer of 1999 it it hoped there will be developed camping and picnicking here. For now, there is a handicap accessible vault toilet at the trailhead. Parking on the top of Cordova Pass. Turn right into the parking lot, from here the trail is about 100 feet down the road on your left. Trail Registration is about 300 feet in.

Directions: From La Veta, Travel 20 miles south of La Veta on Highway 12. Turn east on Forest Road 46 and take it 6 miles to the summit of Cordova Pass. There is a trailhead sign here.
