Larry's is the only way to dive the more rugged dive sites off the eastern coast of Bonaire. It's also one of the island's only dive sites that require boat access, as the water entry is quite rough and distant. Expect a military-style back-flip drop into the water off a rubber pontoon boat powered by two engines.

  • Prepare for rough waters-—it's called the "wild side" for a reason—but Larry drives the custom-made Zodiac boats with a comforting degree of confidence.
  • The rough waters also expose you to much larger sea life than you'll find on the western shore dives. Expect turtles, eagle rays, and nurse sharks.
  • Check with your dive operator, or call Larry directly to set up a time. Minimum outing: two divers.
