1000 Steps is a popular snorkeling site that leads to a small beach. Just off the beach, guests can swim above a grove of iron shore formations frequented by stoplight parrotfish, blue tang and surgeonfish.

  • The site's name comes from the long flight of stairs that shore divers and snorkelers have to take to reach it. It's not quite a thousand, but feels like it when you're toting heavy dive gear.
  • Manta rays and hawksbill turtles are sometimes spotted here.
