Located about four miles from Coronado Village, Mission Beach is the midway point of "The Strand." Part of it lies on the Pacific; the other part frames the calm waters of San Diego Bay. Underground pedestrian tunnels connect the two halves, where beach lovers camp, swim, sail, fish, and picnic.
