  • This is another California beach with Wi-Fi, which means you can check ocean conditions and get tips from other surfers online before you dive in.
  • The parking lot for surfers and other day users is at the north end of the beach (where you want to be regardless), not at the south side, where campers park.
  • The offshore reef is popular with snorkelers and divers. As always, divers should tell a friend or family member where they're diving and for how long. Flags are useful as the area is often crowded.
