Located across from the Manker Flats Campground, Mt. Baldy Notch Trail is the gateway to a series of Forest adventures.

The Mt. Baldy Notch Trail is a moderately strenuous service road to area ski lifts and trails. It may be accessed across the street from the Manker Flats Campground. Users of this route are rewarded with both desert and valley vistas.

Directions: From Claremont, CA, Travel on Foothill Boulevard to Mills Avenue. Take Mills Avenue until it turns into Mt. Baldy Road. Drive 12 miles north on Mt. Baldy Road to the trailhead, across the road from the Manker Flats Campground. (Note: Foothill can be reached by taking Mountain Avenue north from the 10 freeway).

Elevation: 6,300 feet

Distance: 3.5 miles

Difficulty: Moderate/Strenuous
