After reaching the boundary you will need written permission from the Agua Caliente Tribal Council, to hike portions of the Palm Canyon Trail that cross tribal lands. Directions: From Palm Springs, CA, The trailhead is located on Highway 74 approximately 9 miles south of Palm Springs, just west of the Pinyon Flats Campground on the north side of the of Highway 74.

Elevation: 4,264 feet

Ending Elevation: 656 feet

Elevation Gain: 3,608 feet

Difficulty: Strenuous
