Often referred to as Laguna's "Window to the Sea," Main Beach is located in downtown Laguna. The beach features a boardwalk area that leads to Heisler Park, where visitors can play volleyball and basketball.

  • Main beach is popular with many outdoor enthusiasts, including divers and whale watchers, and all those who want to be on the beach yet near all that downtown Laguna Beach offers.
  • If you're diving, enter the water on the east side, then head west toward the reef. There's a submerged pier off the beach, too. If there's surge, though, stay away from the rocks.
  • Facilities include just about everything a town beach should have: bathrooms, telephones, picnic areas, and restaurants and shops nearby.
