Bolsa Chica State Beach is a popular place for surf fishing for perch, corbina, croaker, cabezon, and sand shark, as well as for watching birds and wildlife. It is located across from the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, and a bike-way connects it with Huntington State Beach.
