  • The centerpiece of town is this harbor with something for everyone. With two marinas, 25 shops, and some 20 restaurants, there's plenty to keep a family busy—even if it's just watching the boats coming and going.
  • Catch the Catalina Express at the harbor for tours to Catalina Island.
  • There are all kinds of boat adventures: Dana Wharf Sportfishing offers fishing, whale-watching tours, and evening coastal cruises. On Saturdays you can take a 2.5-hour schoonering course with Schooner Curlew, among other things.
