Little Corona del Mar beach offers stunning views of the Newport Beach jetties and bay at Inspiration Point Park. Surfers once frequented the beach for its powerful waves, but thanks to a break created by the jetties, the water is now calm enough for children.

  • Little Corona has some of the most spectacular ocean views in the area, plus it has one of the few paved access paths that doesn't include stairs.
  • Because of the paved path, this beach offers good access for divers who can put their gear in wheeled carriers, as well as for families and folks who want a great picnic on the beach without having to lug a cooler down 500 steps.
  • The beach is flanked on both sides by rocky reefs, loved by local divers. It is protected from swells and surf, so it's easy to enter into the water. A great spot for snorkelers as well, especially out where the beach drops away to scattered rocks and eel grass teeming with sea life.
