The Beach Bluff Pathway is a gravel pathway that parallels Scenic Road on the bluffs above Carmel Beach. It provides eight stairways that access the beach.

  • As the locals can tell you, this is one of the best vantage points from which to watch Carmel's legendary sunset.
  • Don't even think about lighting up. The town, which owns the pathway and the beach, has banned smoking on both.
