The Rim Trail is a short pathway that leads from the High Peaks Trail to the Chalone Peak Trail. It ends at the Bear Gulch Reservoir, where the Chalone Peak Trail leads into the southern extremes of the monument. The length of the Rim Trail is .4 miles.
Directions: From Bear Gulch Visitor Center, Follow the High Peaks Trail southward approximately one half mile to the junction with Rim Trail.
