The Yosemite Valley Shuttle System is hands down the best way to get around the 1,200-square mile park. Buses travel between the visitor centers, trailheads, meadows, groves, hotels, and stores, and transportation is mostly free. Riding on one of the nine buses is a tour in itself. You'll pass by or stop at Yosemite's Tuolumne Meadows, Tenaya Lake, Badger Pass ski area, and the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.
