Palo Comado Connector extends 1.5 miles over moderately difficult terrain. The connector is an old ranch road across the ridge and through a section of Modelo Shale enabling visitors to reach either Cheeseboro or Palo Comado Canyons.

Dogs must be on leash at all times and are allowed only on trails and access roads. Trail closures may be in effect during and following significant rainfall to protect park resources. Trails will be re-opened when dry enough to sustain public use.

Directions: From Agoura Hills, CA, Travel US 101 / Ventura Freeway to Cheesebro Road, which carries you to the entrance to the Canyons. Proceed to parking lot. Hike Modelo Spur to Modelo Trail to reach this connector trail.
