Overlook Trail is a mere 100 yards, yet is rated moderately difficult. The short uphill climb includes 34 steps to a panoramic view of the Santa Monica Mountains. The top of the peak is over 1,850 feet.
Dogs must be on leash at all times. For the consideration of others, please clean up after your pet. Trail closures may be in effect during and following significant rainfall to protect park resources. Trails will be re-opened when dry enough to sustain public use.
Directions: From Westlake Village, CA, Travel US 101 / Ventura Freeway to Highway 23 / Westlake Boulevard. Head south on Hwy. 23 to Mulholland Highway. Turn left (east) on Mulholland Hwy. and proceed to Rocky Oaks.
