• Fisherman's Village was designed to resemble a New England seaport. It's really a shopping and dining area with great harbor views and places to stroll, but there are other attractions, too. Don't forget to ask about parking validation wherever you go.
• This is where most of the charters and cruises are based. You can take a 45-minute narrated harbor cruise, a dinner cruise, or catch the boat to Catalina Island. You can also visit Marina Boat Rentals for kayaks, jet skis, pedal boats, electric boats, and sailboats. The less action-inclined can watch working trawlers come in with their catch.
• Stop by Lighthouse Plaza on Saturday and Sunday afternoons to catch the free jazz, blues, Latin, and pop concerts.
