  • Dockweiler Beach State Park is located adjacent to Marina del Rey in Playa del Rey. It's popular with swimmers and surfers.
  • In addition to decent surfing, the beach has a hang gliding facility that includes a designated area for beginners. There's also an RV park right off the beach, Los Angeles County's only RV campground right on the beach.
  • Lifeguards are on duty here.
