The Caves Branch River is a gently flowing body of water coming down off the Mountain Pine Ridge and winding through the Cayo District's limestone caves. Anderson's Caves Branch jungle lodge and Jaguar Paw luxury hotel represent the two major entry points along the river for visits to the Cave Branch Caves. The river system is easily navigable on inner tubes and in kayaks.

  • Don an inner tube and a headlamp, and float along the Caves Branch River as it winds through the Cayo District's limestone caves.
  • The ride is a bit rougher, though not much, if you enter from Ian Anderson's Cave Branch Lodge rather than starting your adventure from the Jaguar Paw Lodge.
