Each of the seven falls drops into a pool, some large enough for swimming. The 7.6-mile round-trip (10.6 miles if walking from Sabino Canyon Visitor Center) follows Bear Creek, crossing its normally shallow water seven times; the elevation change is 650 feet. This is one of the best hikes in the Tucson area and very popular, especially when the wildflowers bloom in spring.
