The Sipsey Wilderness Trail System is found in the Sipsey Wilderness, north of Double Springs. This 22 mile system of moderate to difficult trails, heads deep into the wilderness area. It may be traveled in various loops.

Directions: From Double Springs, Travel north on State Hwy. 33 or 243 toward the Sipsey Wilderness and the Sipsey River. These trails can be accessed from various trailhead around the wilderness. Contact the Bankhead Ranger District for further information.

Distance: 22 miles

Difficulty: Moderate/Strenuous
