Sink Hole Trail is probably the most popular trail at Falling Waters State Recreation Area. It is located along a wide boardwalk that enables the visitor to peer down into the 100-foot by 20-foot sinkhole where a small stream of water drops 67 feet, and to this day leaves scientists puzzled about its destination. A mangrove forest and an additional series of small sinkholes can be viewed.
Directions: From Chipley, FL, Travel south along State Route 77 several miles. Turn left (east) onto Route 77A to reach the park. A paved walkway leads to the trailhead.
