Folks enjoying the main campground or the youth campground at Falling Waters State Recreation Area often hike this upland trail that travels between the two campgrounds. The trail is about a mile long through a canopy of live oaks and southern magnolias. Terrace Trail provides a footpath to several park amenities including the lake where visitors enjoy swimming and fishing and also the amphitheater, the location where rangers educate visitors about Falling Water's interesting geological sink holes.
Directions: From Chipley, FL, Travel south along State Route 77 several miles. Turn left (east) onto Route 77A to reach the park. After entering the park, take the first or second right to reach both campground loops. The Terrace Trail travels between the loops
