This is a wildlife refuge located close to Sabine National Wildlife Refuge. Established in 1988 and in existence only six years as a national wildlife refuge, Cameron Prairie NWR is a rapidly growing attraction for local residents and visitors alike. In fact, the Gulf Coast Bird Club has already adopted Cameron Prairie NWR as one of its favorite birding sites.
