BeachExpert Tips & Helpful Hints
  • This beautiful three-masted schooner was built in 1941 and has a long history as a working ship, including a stint as a fishing boat off New England's shores.
  • Sign up for whale-watching excursions on the American Pride. Accompanied by a marine biologist, you'll learn everything you ever wanted to know about the giant mammals.
  • If you're interested in a longer journey, the schooner does overnights to Catalina Island and multi-day trips to the Channel Islands. You'll find her at Dock #3 on Rainbow Harbor, across from the aquarium.
