The lower trailhead for Chiquito Trail is off the San Juan Loop Trail at the parking area across from the Candy Store on the Ortega Highway (Hwy. 74). The upper trailhead is at the east end of Blue Jay Campground approximately 3 miles down the San Juan Trail.
Directions: From Lake Elsinore, CA, Travel southwest on Highway 74. The upper trailhead is at the east end of Blue Jay Campground (off Long Canyon Road). The lower trailhead is off the San Juan Loop Trail at the parking area across from the Candy Store on Ortega Highway (Hwy. 74).
