Now relocated around the corner from its original roost on the main drag of Cedar Springs Road, Sue Ellen's lures in a diverse set of hot ladies, from an attractive, dance-minded early 20-something set to elegant, cocktail-swilling women in their 40s. There's always a good mix of types cruising in the voluminous, gay-owned bar. As the weekend looms, the bar gets more and more crowded, live bands play, and dancing continues well in the early hours. Bartenders are swift and drinks promotions happen every night.
