The institute, housed in its own area at Anthony's Key Resort, is devoted to education—of people, primarily; but also of its resident dolphins that entertain with learned behaviors and interact with visitors during encounter programs. There are a variety of programs, including snorkeling with dolphins, diving with them in open ocean (certification required), and standing in shallow water with them off a sandy beach. Multi-day courses are also available.
