On the water near Manly Wharf, this aquarium may not be as well known as the Sydney Aquarium, but it's just as interesting. Showcasing the fascinating world of Australia's native creatures, the bulk of the displays are on the Great Barrier Reef, and there's a cool shark tunnel you can walk through with rays, eels, and turtles swimming above. Snakes, lizards, and spiders also get their own section in the spotlight. Kids can attend sleepover nights that include a nighttime tour of the shark tunnel, an interactive Dangerous Australian Animals show, all meals, and a kids movie. Brave adults can opt for the shark dives in the tanks (safer than they sound).
