A walk in the wilderness is only part of the attraction at Main Eagle Trailhead. Main Eagle Trail begins at Boulder Park, the site of a huge landslide, and winds its way up Wild and Scenic Eagle Creek, an attractive fishing stream. The trail crosses Eagle Creek at the site of a waterfall, and then climbs into the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Choose to hike or ride horseback to one of several wilderness lakes. Or spend your day fishing and playing along the water’s edge. Two Color Campground and Boulder Park Campground are close by.
