Known locally as the "Indoor City," this massive underground network of offices, shops, restaurants, and apartments tucked below the heart of Montreal is the largest of its kind. Sections of the 19-mile complex peek above ground, but most of the action is on and around the lower levels, where stores line both sides of the tunnels.

Underground City is shopping heaven. Every store imaginable can be found somewhere in the multi-level mall, whether you're looking for trendy threads, electronics, or music. Two hundred restaurants, 34 movie theatres, and seven metro stations cater to the 500,000 people that pass through the tunnels daily.
