Formerly named Eros, this flashy, upscale, long-established gay disco venue sports dark interiors, steel balconies, a circular bar, strippers, drag shows, and bartenders in underwear. Its main purpose is for the hard-core youth dance crowd to groove the night away (Thursday is College Night). For some reason, Krash is popular mainly on weeknights; weekends can be dead on arrival and at times close to empty (maybe that’s why Saturday nights have no cover charge, unlike other nights). Although predominately male, Krash has a following of young women, both gay and straight, who enjoy dressing up for the goings-on.
