Lower Manzana Creek Trail follows the Manzana Creek northwest eight miles to the Sisquoc River.

This trail follows the Manzana Creek northwest eight miles to the Sisquoc River. At the junction of these two water ways is the historic Manzana Schoolhouse and the popular Manzana Schoolhouse Trail Camp. This trail is well suited for day hikes or as an access to other parts of the San Rafael Wilderness in the Lower Sisquoc.

Directions: From Los Olivos, Travel on Forest Road 7N07 northeast for about 22 miles to the Nira Campground and trailhead. The trailhead can be reached by car most of the but there are several seasonal closure gates that can add to the length your hike.
