General Information: The Potholes Trail offers partial Wilderness access along a six mile hike. Moderate to difficult, due to steepness. This trail takes off from Blue Point Road, on the left, about one mile south of Blue Point Campground. It follows the ridge line for 2.7 miles (difficult) and then enters the Sespe Wilderness and descends into the Potholes for another 2 miles (moderate). The trail joins the Agua Blanca Trail after 5.8 miles. A loop trail can be taken by connecting with the Agua Blanca Trail one mile down from Potholes Cabin.
Directions: From Piru, Travel north along Forest Road 4N13. This trail takes off from Blue Point Road, on the left, about one mile south of Blue Point Campground.
