• Cloudland Canyon, located in the most northwesterly corner of Georgia, is one of the most scenic parks in the state. Here, Daniel Creek cuts its way down Lookout Mountain and forms Sitton Gulch, a rock-rimmed gorge with sheer walls, cliff lines, waterfalls, and vistas that will leave every hiker satisfied that the scenery was worth the effort.
• The West Rim Loop offers a five-mile hike that starts at the attractive picnic area. Bring a picnic lunch with you.
• Developed overlooks are served up periodically for those who trek this path. First, it offers vistas from near the parking area, then it offers a side trip into the canyon of Sitton Gulch, where two waterfalls drop. It then crosses Daniels Creek and climbs to pass large rock slabs on the west rim of Sitton Gulch, where more views await.
