• The 5,0000-acre military park is a scenic area where an important Civil War battle took place.
• It offers a seven-mile auto tour, hiking trails, and horse trails, as well as historical displays that recount the battle.
• Lookout Mountain battlefield is also part of the park. It has hiking trails and historical displays and is located on a high ridge. Both offer reenactments and living history demonstrations, mainly during summer.
