The Calgary Stampede is a 10-day festival, exhibition, and rodeo that dates back to 1912. It is Calgary's largest annual event (with more than 1 million attendees) and features attractions including an internationally recognized rodeo competition, concerts, agricultural competitions, chuckwagon races, traditional Indian dances, exhibitions, and pancake breakfasts around the city, and a parade that attracts more than 350,000 spectators.

  • Ages 6 & under, free
  • Save $$ by purchasing standing-room-only tickets for the rodeo and evening events, but make sure kids are old enough and awake enough to handle this or it will be money wasted--just less money wasted.
