  • The original "Spirit of Sacramento" boat was in operation from 1942 to 1946 until it was destroyed by a fire. The current "Spirit" is actually originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. The boat made the amazing journey to its new home by first traveling down the Mississippi, then into the Gulf of Mexico, around Cuba, through the Panama Canal to the Pacific Ocean and into the Golden Gate to Sacramento.
