This 11 mile strenuous trail begins at the Fee Booth parking area of the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center, then heads toward the Calico Hills Trail and onto Sand Stone Quarry. Thereafter the trail continues on to the White Rock Springs upper parking lot. From there the trail heads down the hill toward Willow Springs, but veers to the left at a junction on the top of the ridge. It then crosses the Scenic Loop Drive and continues downhill to the visitor center.
Please Note: Carry water, at least one gallon per person per day in the summer. Wear appropriate footwear suitable for hiking and a hat. Watch the weather, mountain thunderstorms can cause flash flooding in the canyons and nearby washes.
Directions: From Las Vegas, Travel ten miles west along State Route 159. The trailhead is located at the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center.
