Sitting at an elevation 1,180 feet this easy 2 mile trail heads across the open desert to the mouth of Oak Creek Canyon.
Please Note: Carry water, at least one gallon per person per day in the summer. Wear appropriate footwear suitable for hiking and a hat. Watch the weather, mountain thunderstorms can cause flash flooding in the canyons and nearby washes.
Directions: From Las Vegas, Travel ten miles west along State Route 159. Once at the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center take the Oak Creek turn-off from the Scenic Loop Drive to a small parking lot.
