  • The St. Charles Streetcar will take you to the park. Tell the driver you want to get off at the Zoo stop.
  • Take time to meander through adjacent Audubon Zoo, one of America's premier zoos. With ghostly white alligators, white tigers, and an eerily authentic swamp exhibit, it's unlike anything else in the city. If you don't have time for a bayou tour together during your stay, this is the next best thing.
Leave behind last night's French Quarter indulgences and retreat to 340 acres of shaded urban paradise at Audubon Park. Stroll among the many hundreds of oak trees, linger by a lagoon, or stretch out on the grass with a picnic and share a quiet hour amid the natural beauty of the Deep South.
