  • From 1882 to World War II it was known as Alameda Beach, with an amusement park as the main attraction. Today, Crown Beach has 2.5 miles of shoreline along the calm waters of the bay, making it popular for swimming, sunbathing, windsurfing, kayaking, and kiteboarding. Thanks to warm water and mild temperatures, the beach is open year-round.
