The glass-roofed Butterfly Pavilion inside Charlotte Nature Museum is a sanctuary for bright-winged creatures and a kaleidoscope of colorful plants and flowers. Meet Peetie the opossum and Nelly the barred owl at Creature Cavern or roam the Paw Paw Nature Trail in a century-old forest. One Saturday a month the museum hosts "Creature Features," an animal-themed day of craft making, puppet shows, and storytelling.
