The 56,500-square-foot Miami Children's Museum includes 14 galleries, classrooms, and a 200-seat auditorium. It offers hundreds of bilingual, interactive exhibits; programs and classes, including those for children with special needs; a Subway restaurant; the KidSmart Educational Gift Shop; and learning materials related to arts, culture, community, and communication. Located on Watson Island, the museum also offers seasonal camps and classes and custom birthday-party packages. Permanent exhibits include Pet Central, where kids learn how to care for pets at home; the Health and Wellness Center, which emphasizes healthy habits such as proper nutrition and exercise; and the Sea and Me, whose wall of bubbles is perfectly suited for younger visitors. Admission is $15 for adults and children, $12 for Florida residents, and free for MCM members and children younger than a year. Parking costs $1 per hour.
